Job Purpose
To perform a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks that keep transport facilities and premises clean, safe, and healthy.

Requirements
- Basic literacy skills
- Ability to perform the duties required by the role
- Relevant experience in cleaning tasks is an advantage
- Physically fit and in good health
- Ability to stand for long periods and walk long distances
- Must undergo a criminal record check and allow fingerprints to be taken by the Tshwane Metro Police Department at own cost

Primary Functions
- Conduct daily upkeep of facilities
- Pick up litter and sweep areas around facilities
- Cut grass and de-weed plants on pavements and walkways
- Clean buildings and premises
- Assist with loading and unloading various objects
- Clean flowerbeds and ablution facilities
- Empty small bins on facility platforms
- Remove waste dumping around facilities
- Handle small equipment and machinery
