Position Overview
We are looking for motivated graduates to join our Internship Programme in the Town and Regional Planning department. This is a contract position based in Gauteng, designed to provide practical experience and professional development for young South Africans.
Minimum Requirements
- A BSc Honours degree in Town and Regional Planning from an accredited university.
- Must be a South African citizen with a valid ID.
- Must be currently unemployed.
- Must be under the age of 35.
- Academic records must meet the requirements for professional registration with SACPLAN (or other relevant statutory councils).
- A valid Code 08 driver’s license is an advantage.
- Registration as a candidate with relevant professional councils is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
During this internship, you will work under the guidance of experienced professionals to develop your skills. Your duties will include:
- Applying theoretical knowledge of town and regional planning to practical projects.
- Demonstrating professional proficiencies as required by statutory councils.
- Planning and organizing workloads effectively to meet department goals.
- Communicating clearly and working collaboratively within a team.
