Role Overview
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our team. You will be responsible for creating visual concepts, managing our corporate identity, and designing a wide range of digital and print materials that communicate our mission effectively.
Minimum Requirements
- A 3-year National Diploma or Degree in Multimedia or Graphic Design.
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in graphic design.
- A valid driver’s license.
Key Responsibilities
- Design & Layout: Create professional layouts for publications, including annual reports, newsletters, brochures, and posters. Prepare all artwork in print-ready formats (CMYK).
- Brand Management: Develop graphics, logos, and illustrations that align with our Corporate Identity Guidelines.
- Web & Digital: Design website layouts, manage web content, and improve Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) to enhance our online presence.
- Media Monitoring: Track and report on news articles and online mentions related to the IUCMA.
- Collaboration: Work with different departments to understand their design needs, manage production timelines, and provide expert advice on visual communication.
Skills and Competencies
- Expertise in design and photo-editing software (Adobe Creative Suite).
- Strong understanding of Content Management Systems (CMS) and web design.
- Excellent writing and interpersonal communication skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
- A team player with high integrity and strong attention to detail.
