The Role

We are looking for a dedicated Helpdesk Assistant to join our Hospitality Support team in Midrand. Reporting to the Call Centre Manager, you will be the first point of contact for our customers. This role is ideal for a professional who is detail-oriented, enjoys solving problems, and excels in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls and respond to customer emails promptly.
  • Provide accurate information about products and services.
  • Document all customer interactions according to company procedures.
  • Research and resolve customer inquiries using available resources.
  • Identify, prioritize, and escalate urgent issues to the correct departments.
  • Coordinate with technicians to ensure technical problems are fixed quickly.
  • Maintain and update customer information in the system.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure their issues are fully resolved.
  • Create call reports and handle administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Education: Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent is essential.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Customer Service: A friendly, patient, and empathetic approach to helping others.
  • Technical Skills: Basic understanding of technical systems and the ability to learn new products quickly.
  • Organization: Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
  • Professionalism: Reliable, disciplined, and able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Agility: A willingness to learn from feedback and adapt to a changing environment.
