What We Are Looking For

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • A Grade 12 (Matric) certificate.
  • 1 to 2 years of practical work experience in a hospitality or tourism environment.
  • Good communication skills in both written and spoken English.
  • A polite and professional approach to customer service.
  • Basic knowledge of first aid and safety procedures.
  • An understanding of hygiene standards; experience as a room attendant is a plus.
  • The ability to work well within a team.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and hospitality standards.

Your Responsibilities

As a General Worker Attendant, your main tasks will include:

  • Cleaning and maintaining public areas such as the reception, lobby, restrooms, and conference rooms.
  • Performing both routine cleaning and deep cleaning according to the daily schedule.
  • Providing clear handovers to the next shift to ensure smooth operations.
  • Reporting any technical or maintenance issues and helping with minor repairs when needed.
  • Handling lost property by handing it over to management immediately.
  • Using cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and correctly.
  • Managing inventory and making sure guest units are well-stocked.
  • Assisting with cleaning hotel rooms and chalets.
  • Carrying out other related duties as assigned by your supervisor.
