About the Department
The Department of Water and Sanitation is responsible for managing South Africa’s water resources. The department’s main goal is to ensure that all citizens have access to clean water and proper sanitation while promoting efficient water management across the country.
Role Description
The department is currently seeking two dedicated Human Resource Clerks to support administrative and personnel functions. This role is ideal for individuals with a foundational understanding of public service regulations and HR systems.
Job Requirements
- A Senior Certificate (Grade 12).
- A Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management is highly preferred.
- One to two years of experience (including internships) is considered an advantage.
- A valid, unexpired driver’s license.
- Proficiency in the PERSAL system, as well as database and spreadsheet applications.
- Basic knowledge of the Public Service Act, Public Service Regulations, and other relevant HR policies.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
