About the Role
The Customer Services Agent is the first point of contact for students. You will answer calls, respond to emails, and manage help‑desk tickets. Your goal is to provide quick, accurate, and friendly support so every student feels heard and helped.
Key Responsibilities
- Call Handling: Answer student calls promptly, listen carefully, and give clear answers. Keep detailed logs in FreshCaller.
- Ticket Resolution: Resolve tickets within agreed service levels. Update ticket status, communicate progress, and follow up until the issue is closed.
- Customer Experience: Maintain a friendly tone, show empathy, and handle difficult students calmly. Aim to exceed expectations.
- Continuous Improvement: Attend training, keep knowledge of policies up to date, and suggest ways to improve processes or create FAQ content.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum NQF Level 6 in Business Administration or Information Systems/Technology.
- Ideal: NQF Level 7 in the same fields.
- At least 1 year of administrative experience.
- Experience in an educational institution is a plus.
