Role Overview
We are looking for motivated interns to support the Office of the Director and the Finance department. This role involves assisting with financial administration, supply chain processes, and general office management within the Compensation Fund.
Requirements
To be considered for this internship, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- A completed three-year tertiary qualification (NQF Level 6) in any of the following fields:
- Cost and Management Accounting
- Financial Management
- Financial Information Systems
- Internal Audit
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidates will assist with the following tasks:
- Financial & Supply Chain Support: Help manage supply chain services and coordinate budget planning for the Compensation Fund in the province.
- Claims & Accounting: Assist with financial accounting for COID benefits, including verifying claims and claimant bank details.
- Asset Management: Help record the receipt, registration, and movement of department assets.
- Administrative Support: Provide daily administrative assistance to the Director’s office, including managing client inquiries and handling complaints.
- Planning: Assist in developing demand plans for the province.
