About the Department
The Gauteng Department of Roads and Transport is part of the Gauteng Provincial Government. The department is responsible for developing the transport system within the province and managing the construction and maintenance of various government buildings and structures.
Role Overview
We are looking for a dedicated intern to join our Policy, Legislation, Research and Knowledge Management team. This is a full-time internship designed to provide practical work experience to a qualified graduate.
Requirements
- A National Diploma or Degree in Library & Knowledge Management, Public Management, Governance, or Information Science.
- Must be a South African citizen.
- Must be currently unemployed.
- Must not have participated in an internship programme before.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with research and data collection related to transport policy and legislation.
- Support the management of departmental information and knowledge resources.
- Complete all tasks and administrative duties assigned by the supervisor related to the post.
