About the Department
The Limpopo Department of Cooperative Governance, Human Settlements and Traditional Affairs (CoGHSTA) is responsible for coordinating government efforts, supporting human settlements, and overseeing traditional affairs in the province. Our mission is to provide quality services to citizens by improving service delivery and implementing projects that put people first.
Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated intern to join our Records and Facilities unit. This role is based in Polokwane and focuses on supporting our Resource Centre and Knowledge Management functions. It is an excellent opportunity for a graduate to gain hands-on experience in a professional public service environment.
Your Responsibilities
- Assisting with Resource Centre functions and daily operations.
- Supporting knowledge management initiatives within the department.
- Helping with the organization and maintenance of records and information resources.
Requirements
To be eligible for this internship, you must meet the following criteria:
- Education: A three-year qualification (Degree or Diploma) in Library Science, Information Management Studies, Archival Studies, or Library Studies.
- Skills: Strong computer literacy and the ability to use standard office software.
- Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Personal Attributes: Excellent time management skills and a professional attitude.
