The Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO) was established in 2010 to oversee the design, implementation, and certification of occupational qualifications and trades in South Africa. We ensure that skills development meets the standards required for the national workforce.
Role Overview
Location: Pretoria, Gauteng
Job Type: Full-Time Internship
Closing Date: 27 February 2026
The purpose of this internship is to provide essential logistical and administrative support to the Council and its various Committees. This is an entry-level opportunity for a graduate to gain practical experience in supply chain and financial administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel and Logistics: Coordinate travel needs for Council members, including booking flights, car rentals, and accommodation.
- Procurement Support: Prepare requisitions, submissions, and memos for goods and services. Manage catering arrangements for meetings and workshops.
- Financial Administration: Receive, analyze, and process invoices from service providers. Ensure all documentation is prepared for payment approvals.
- Claims Processing: Manage the remuneration and expense claim process for Council and Committee members, ensuring all signatures are obtained and documents are submitted to Finance.
- Communication: Act as a point of contact for inquiries regarding travel, logistics, and member claims.
Requirements
- Education: A National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Supply Chain Management or Finance Management.
- Citizenship: Must be an unemployed South African citizen.
- Age: Between 18 and 35 years old.
- Experience: No previous experience is required, but you must not have participated in any other internship program.
- Location: Preference will be given to applicants residing in the Gauteng Province.
