About the Role

The Sourcing Intern will support the Sourcing team in identifying, evaluating, and onboarding suppliers. You will manage sourcing documentation, assist with cost analysis, and track supplier performance. This internship offers hands‑on experience in strategic sourcing within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in supplier research, evaluation, and selection processes.
• Support the preparation of RFQs, RFPs, and RFIs.
• Help maintain and update supplier databases and sourcing documentation.
• Participate in cost analysis and benchmarking activities.
• Track and report on supplier performance metrics.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (production, quality, logistics, sales, finance).
• Assist in preparing sourcing reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement standards.

Qualifications

Education: 3‑year tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field (Degree/Diploma).

Person Specification

• Strong analytical and research skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Interest in manufacturing and supply chain operations.
• Strong knowledge of operational functions and cross‑functional interdependencies.
