Internship: Supply Chain Management (1 Position)
The Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO) is inviting applications for a Supply Chain Management Internship. Established in 2010, the QCTO oversees the design, assessment, and certification of occupational qualifications in South Africa.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will assist the Supply Chain Management team with daily operations, focusing on travel arrangements and procurement administration. This position is based in Pretoria, Gauteng.
What You Will Do
- Organize travel services for QCTO staff, including booking flights, accommodation, and car rentals.
- Capture and process procurement requests for approval.
- Request and collect quotations from suppliers for various goods and services.
- Communicate professionally with both internal staff and external partners.
- Ensure all supply chain documents are properly filed, organized, and protected.
Requirements
- A National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, or Public Management.
- Unemployed South African citizen between the ages of 18 and 35.
- No previous working experience is required.
- Must not have participated in any previous internship program.
- Preference will be given to applicants residing in the Gauteng Province.
Required Skills
- Basic computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
