Job Overview
We are looking for a dedicated IT Technician to join our Head Office team. The successful candidate will maintain our digital infrastructure, support end-users, and ensure our systems run smoothly to help the organization meet its goals.
Minimum Requirements
- A three-year National Diploma or Degree in Information Technology (IT).
- At least three years of practical experience in the IT field.
- Professional certifications in Microsoft, AWS, HP, or CISCO Networking will be considered a strong advantage.
Technical Knowledge and Skills
The ideal candidate should be proficient in the following areas:
- Infrastructure: Active Directory (2008, 2012, 2016), Azure, Office 365, and Server Administration.
- Networking: HP Switching, routing, internet connectivity, cabling, and wireless setups.
- Security: Sophos or Cyberoam Firewalls, McAfee Antivirus, and Pen Testing.
- Maintenance: Backup Exec, software updates, and hardware troubleshooting.
- General: Strong written and verbal communication, high attention to detail, and a results-driven mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- End-User Support: Help staff with hardware and software issues involving computers, printers, and related equipment.
- Hardware Management: Assemble and configure new ICT hardware for the organization.
- Network Administration: Monitor and maintain network specifications, security, and user access.
- System Maintenance: Manage server health, perform software updates, and ensure data backups are completed regularly.
- Compliance: Execute all duties according to the ITIL framework guidelines to ensure high-quality service.
