Job Purpose
As a Junior Developer at TIH, you will design, build, and maintain software applications that help our financial services run smoothly. You will work closely with senior developers and stakeholders to create solutions that improve efficiency and meet customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Application Maintenance: Identify and fix software defects, working with senior colleagues for approval.
- Customer Support: Handle complex customer cases and inquiries.
- Software Development: Contribute to new and existing applications, suggesting improvements and new features.
- Performance Testing: Run routine tests on websites and applications, diagnose issues, and report findings.
- Innovation: Propose and implement improvements, following change‑management protocols.
- Information Security: Support security measures such as firewalls and encryption, and alert experts to any problems.
- Professional Growth: Participate in training, coaching, and professional accreditation to enhance your skills.
- Compliance: Follow company policies, regulatory codes, and industry best practices.
Education
High school diploma (Grade 12) – required.
Experience
1–2 years of experience with relevant programming languages or technologies is advantageous. Prior experience in a financial services environment is also a plus.
