About the Role
We are seeking a Junior Financial Admin Assistant to provide essential support to our Finance Department within the manufacturing and packaging sector. This role focuses on managing financial documents, ensuring all records—both digital and physical—are accurately processed, filed, and maintained. You will play a key part in keeping our financial operations running smoothly and ensuring we remain compliant with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize, scan, and file financial documents, including invoices, receipts, and contracts.
- Manage digital and physical filing systems to ensure information is easy to find.
- Capture data accurately into finance systems and spreadsheets.
- Help coordinate schedules, meetings, and take minutes when needed.
- Verify that all submitted documents are complete and accurate.
- Support the finance team during audits and the monthly reporting cycle.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive financial information.
- Work closely with other departments to collect necessary documentation.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12 qualification is essential.
- At least 2 years of administrative experience, ideally within a finance or office environment.
- A certificate or diploma in Office Administration or Finance is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Previous experience with document management systems is beneficial.
- Professional communication skills and a reliable work ethic.
