Main Responsibilities
The successful candidates will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Investigating and prosecuting illegal cartel conduct as defined by the Competition Act.
- Administering the Commission’s Corporate Leniency Policy.
- Writing, reviewing, and presenting detailed investigation reports and legal pleadings.
- Assisting with the execution of the division’s strategy and business plans.
Requirements
We are looking for hardworking and committed individuals who meet these criteria:
- A completed Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or an equivalent legal qualification.
- At least 2 years of professional experience handling complex investigations.
- The ability to lead investigation teams and work independently within a multidisciplinary environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in collecting and analyzing information for both tactical and strategic purposes.
- Previous experience specifically in competition law is an added advantage.
Other Considerations
Practical work experience in this field will be taken into account alongside formal qualifications to ensure a well-balanced team.
