The Electoral Commission of South Africa (IEC) is an independent organization established by the Constitution to manage national, provincial, and municipal elections. We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Field Workers for the Ward 17 By-Election in KwaZulu-Natal.
Job Overview

- Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree
- Field: NGO / Non-Profit
- Daily Rate: R 370.00 (Subject to statutory deductions for days worked or training attended)
Key Responsibilities
As a Field Worker, your primary goal is to help strengthen the democratic process. Your duties will include:
- Assisting with the coordination of voter registration at the voting station level.
- Supporting balloting education and other related IEC programs.
- Ensuring electoral processes are carried out efficiently and professionally.
Requirements
- Must hold a Bachelor’s degree.
- Ability to work effectively within a community setting.
- Commitment to neutrality and the values of the Electoral Commission.
