Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this learnership, you must meet one of the following educational criteria:
- N2 Qualification: Must include Mathematics, Engineering Science, Plating Structural Steel Drawings, and Platers Trade Theory.
- National Certificate Vocational (NCV): Engineering and related design with at least a 40% pass mark in all subjects.
- Grade 12 (Matric): Must include Mathematics, Physical Science, Engineering Graphic Design (Drawings), and relevant trade theory with at least a 40% pass mark in all subjects.
Additional Criteria
- Must be medically fit to work in the specific business area.
- Must have a clear security screening record.
- A valid driver’s license is preferred (where applicable).
- Previous experience in an engineering environment is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Learning & Development: Complete all modules of the training program within the required timeframe and understand all learning objectives.
- Safety & Health: Adhere to all legal and safety requirements. Wear necessary safety equipment and participate in risk assessments to ensure a safe working environment.
- Reporting: Provide regular progress reports to supervisors and communicate any obstacles or ideas for improvement.
- Teamwork: Maintain positive relationships with team members and stakeholders to support a productive work culture.
- Standards & Compliance: Follow all company policies and international mining principles, focusing on operational excellence and safe production.
