Lepelle Northern Water (LNW) is a water board established under the Water Services Act No 108 of 1997. We serve as a bulk water supplier and water services provider, managing several purification works and supply schemes throughout the Limpopo Province.

Job Title: Legal Services Administrator

Location: Polokwane, Limpopo
Minimum Requirements
- A National Diploma or Degree in Law (LLB).
- At least 2 years of working experience within a legal environment.
- A valid driver’s license (this is a requirement).
- Professional registration or admission as an Attorney/Advocate will be considered an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Legal Services Practitioner, the successful candidate will provide essential administrative support to the Legal Services Unit. Duties include:
- Document Management: Maintain legal files, case registers, and contracts while ensuring confidentiality and proper record-keeping.
- Legal Drafting: Prepare and format routine legal correspondence, reports, and official submissions.
- Litigation Support: Coordinate court dates and deadlines, and facilitate communication with external legal practitioners.
- Liaison: Act as a point of contact between internal departments, external attorneys, advocates, and regulatory bodies.
- Meeting Coordination: Prepare agendas and documentation, and record minutes for legal-related meetings.
- Compliance and Audits: Monitor adherence to legal policies and procedures, and assist the unit during audits or investigations.
- General Support: Manage diaries, set reminders for legal deadlines, and perform other assigned duties to support the legal function.
