About the Municipality

Nyandeni Local Municipality is located within the OR Tambo District in the Eastern Cape. Based in Libode, the municipality serves a vibrant region known for its natural beauty, including the Hluleka Nature Reserve and Mdumbi Beach. We are looking for a dedicated professional to join our team and manage our essential facilities and vehicle fleet.

Job Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following criteria:

  • A National Diploma in Public Management or an equivalent qualification.
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in facilities or fleet management.
  • A valid Code EB driver’s license.
  • Professional registration will be considered an added advantage.

Key Competencies and Skills

The successful candidate should demonstrate the following skills and knowledge:

  • In-depth knowledge of facilities and fleet management systems.
  • Experience in asset management and life-cycle planning.
  • Ability to manage contracts and oversee service providers.
  • A strong understanding of relevant government legislation.
  • Excellent communication, reporting, and writing skills.
