Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated Marketplace Sales Intern to join our team in Cape Town. This is a contract position focused on supporting our sellers and helping them succeed on our platform. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in e-commerce, sales, or business development.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support to sellers regarding account management and operational queries.
- Help sellers understand and use platform tools, processes, and best practices.
- Monitor seller performance metrics and identify ways to help them improve.
- Assist in improving product listings, catalog quality, and stock availability.
- Support promotional activities by coordinating submissions and tracking results.
- Assist in preparing performance reports, trackers, and dashboards.
- Escalate technical or operational issues to the appropriate internal teams.
- Participate in seller training sessions, webinars, and other enablement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of all seller interactions and actions taken.
Requirements
- Qualification: N6 in Business, Commerce, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude.
- A keen interest in the e-commerce industry.
- Basic understanding of data and reporting tools.
