Introduction
We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our team as a Master Data Assistant. Your primary role will be to ensure that all master data is accurately captured and maintained within our merchandise systems.
Job Details

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update master data in the merchandise systems while resolving any technical issues.
- Report any data-related problems to the Master Data Supervisor.
- Support and train new users on how to capture data correctly.
- Handle ad hoc data requests and assist with special projects.
- Verify that all incoming data is accurate and follows the correct format.
- Ensure all data tasks are completed on time for new brand launches.
Requirements
Experience and Education:
- Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.
- 1 to 3 years of experience as an administrative clerk or in a data entry role.
- Proven experience in managing data integrity and business data systems.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Familiarity with merchandise systems and database management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong typing skills with high speed and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A methodical and flexible approach to work.
