Role Description
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team. The primary focus of this role is to perform mechanical maintenance and repairs on grain silo plant components and grain handling machinery. You will ensure that our facilities operate at maximum efficiency while strictly adhering to Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, install, and construct various grain handling plant components.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and repair malfunctioning mechanical systems.
- Manage and lead team members on-site.
- Ensure all equipment is available and safe for operational use.
Requirements
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Maintenance Fitter.
- Qualification: Must hold a Red Seal Trade Certificate.
- Education: A National Senior Certificate (Matric) or equivalent is preferred.
- Skills: Strong technical problem-solving abilities and leadership skills.
