Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Grade 12 (Matric) certificate.
• Qualified Millwright with a valid Trade Test Certificate.
• 1 to 5 years of experience in the maintenance and repair of electrical panels, wiring, and PLCs.
• Practical experience with potable and wastewater treatment plants and pump stations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• A valid Code 8 Driver’s License.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Maintaining and repairing equipment using specialized hand tools.
• Ensuring Motor Control Circuit (MCC) rooms and work areas are kept clean and organized after job completion.
• Assisting with electric motor testing and cable jointing.
• Conducting routine electrical inspections of plants and pump stations.
• Identifying and reporting any unsafe conditions to the supervisor immediately.
• Strictly adhering to all health and safety protocols and regulations.
