About the Role

Motus Mercedes Benz Polokwane is looking for a motivated Sales Representative to help sell high‑quality used vehicles. The ideal candidate has a proven sales record in the automotive industry and excellent communication and customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new leads through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
  • Conduct detailed vehicle walk‑arounds and demonstrations to highlight features and benefits.
  • Help customers choose vehicles that fit their needs and budget.
  • Negotiate and close sales to meet monthly targets.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities in the CRM system.
  • Follow up with customers after the sale to ensure satisfaction and build long‑term relationships.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to provide insights to the team.

Qualifications

  • Matric certificate or equivalent; post‑secondary education in business or marketing is a plus.
  • At least 2–3 years of experience in automotive sales with a proven track record.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
  • Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and driven to succeed.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver’s licence and clean driving record.
