Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Multi Skilled Yellow Fleet Operator to join our team. This role focus on the maintenance of essential infrastructure and the professional operation of heavy machinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain road and storm water infrastructure, including repairing potholes, trenches, and drainage systems.
- Operate various yellow fleet vehicles and perform other operational tasks as assigned.
- Clean and rehabilitate culverts and storm water systems.
- Assist with the construction of vehicle access points for properties.
- Collaborate with on-site contractors to ensure quality repairs and maintenance.
- Keep accurate records and complete all required paperwork for the Facilities Management team.
- Manage stock and equipment, ensuring everything is safe and ready for use.
- Interact professionally with clients and escalate any issues to the appropriate manager.
- Uphold high ethical standards and follow all safety protocols.
Requirements
- Education: Grade 12 (Matric) or an equivalent qualification.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience as a multi-skilled Yellow Fleet operator.
- Licensing: A valid Driver’s License.
- Certifications: Valid Yellow Equipment Operator certificates or licenses for multiple types of machinery.
