Job Summary
The Receptionist is the first point of contact for visitors and patients. You will manage the complete admissions process, handle queries, and provide outstanding customer service while representing the clinic’s values.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain a welcoming reception area each day.
- Adhere to uniform and badge policies.
- Deliver friendly, professional customer service at all times.
- Accurately complete and verify patient documentation.
- Handle telephone calls with proper etiquette and record messages.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow.
- Assist patients with billing, collect payments, and process MCRs.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with POPIA.
- Respond to emergencies by directing patients to the nursing station.
- Support team meetings and collaborate with other departments.
- Maintain stock levels of stationery and other supplies.

Education
- Matric or equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification.
- Higher certificate (NQF Level 5) is an advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 1–2 years of receptionist experience in a hospital or clinic setting.
Knowledge
- Intermediate computer skills (MS Word, Outlook, Excel).
- Understanding of medical schemes.
- Experience with SAP and ME+ systems.
