Nursing Assistant Grade 1 to 3 (Trauma & OPD)
The Western Cape Department of Health and Wellness is responsible for providing public healthcare services to the people of the Western Cape province. We are currently seeking dedicated Nursing Assistants to join our Trauma and Outpatients Department (OPD).

Requirements
To qualify for this position, you must meet the following criteria:
- A Matric certificate or equivalent.
- A qualification that allows for registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Nursing Assistant.
- Proof of current registration with the SANC.
Experience Levels
Candidates will be placed in the appropriate grade based on their professional experience after registering with the SANC:
- Grade 1: No experience required.
- Grade 2: A minimum of 10 years of appropriate experience in nursing.
- Grade 3: A minimum of 20 years of appropriate experience in nursing.
Core Responsibilities and Job Requirements
- Willingness to work various shifts, including day duty, night duty, and overtime.
- Ability to rotate between different wards within the facility.
- Willingness to work at clinics within the sub-district when necessary.
- Strong communication skills.
- Self-discipline and a high level of motivation.
