Role Purpose
We are seeking a dedicated professional to manage and facilitate training programs specifically for our Water Treatment Plant and Chemical Services department. This role ensures that our workforce is skilled, assessed, and equipped with the latest technical knowledge to maintain operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and facilitate training sessions for various workgroups.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to measure learning progress.
- Use modern training tools and methodologies to ensure effective learning.
- Handle all administrative tasks related to training from start to finish.
- Communicate effectively with internal customers and stakeholders.
Requirements
Education and Qualifications:
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- National Diploma in Chemical Engineering OR a National N Diploma in Chemistry with a completed Trade Test.
- Qualifications must be at NQF Level 6 with at least 240 credits.
Experience:
- At least 3 years of experience in technical training, water treatment plant operations, or chemical services.
Skills and Competencies
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of facilitation techniques, ETD (Education, Training, and Development) methodologies, and general energy industry operations.
- Leadership: Proven ability to manage groups and lead training sessions confidently.
- Soft Skills: Strong planning, interpersonal communication, and presentation skills.
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to work independently and solve problems logically.
Physical Attributes
- General physical fitness.
- Ability to work comfortably at heights.
- Ability to distinguish between different colors.
Additional Requirements
