Eskom is South Africa’s primary electricity supplier, providing nearly 95% of the country’s power. We are currently looking for a dedicated Quality Assurance Management Officer to join our team in Mpumalanga. This role is essential for ensuring that our operations and supply chains meet the highest international standards.
Key Responsibilities
As a Quality Assurance Officer, your primary duties will include:
- Overseeing and maintaining quality management systems.
- Measuring, analyzing, and improving quality processes across the site.
- Supporting and managing internal and external audits.
- Managing the quality standards of our suppliers.
- Compiling and presenting detailed quality performance reports.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
Technical Knowledge:
- Deep understanding of ISO standards (specifically ISO 9000, 9001, and 19011).
- Familiarity with South African National Standards (SANS) and industry-specific codes.
- Knowledge of site quality management techniques and practices.
Professional Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong report writing and communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective time management and decision-making skills.
