Job Opportunity: Officer Safety, Health, and Environment (Public Safety)

Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) Officer to join our team in the Free State. This is a full-time position focused on public safety and environmental management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support multi-disciplinary work groups to ensure safety standards are met.
- Implement and maintain occupational safety, health, and environmental programs.
- Provide professional advice and guidance on safety matters to the business.
- Review business requirements to identify and address safety needs.
- Conduct regular safety, health, and environmental audits.
- Develop and monitor risk management processes and projects.
- Create and update safety procedures and standards to ensure compliance.
Requirements
- Qualification: A National Diploma in Safety Management, Environmental Health, or Environmental Science (NQF6 with 240 credits).
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in safety, health, environment, quality, risk, or security.
