Job Purpose and Role
We are seeking a qualified individual to fill the role of Officer Wellness & Lifestyle Management in Mpumalanga. This position focuses on ensuring efficient plant operations and contributing to the safety and emergency response capabilities of the facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular and routine checks on plant equipment.
- Prepare the plant for service to ensure continuous operation.
- Carry out daily operating activities according to safety standards.
- Participate as an active member of the fire and rescue team when required.
- Complete any other legitimate tasks assigned by management.
Minimum Requirements
Education and Qualifications:
- N3 certificate with Mathematics and Science.
- NQF4 National Certificate in Fossil Power Plant Operation.
Experience:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Learner Plant Operator or Plant Operator.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in defect reporting and log writing; specialized training in fire fighting.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer Literacy: Ability to use standard office software and technical systems.
