We are looking for a professional and dedicated Operational Manager for our Gynecology unit.

Job Overview
As the Operational Manager, you will lead a nursing team to provide effective patient care. You will oversee daily operations, manage resources, and ensure that all nursing practices meet legal and ethical standards. This role requires a leader who can maintain a positive work environment and deliver top-quality service to our community.
Requirements
- A basic nursing qualification (Diploma or Degree) that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse.
- Current registration with SANC.
- A Degree or Diploma in Nursing Administration or Management registered with SANC.
- At least seven (7) years of experience in nursing after registering as a Professional Nurse.
- A formal service record must be provided.
- Experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology is an added advantage.
- Basic computer literacy is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and ensure high-quality patient care within the unit.
- Coordinate and monitor nursing care plans and evaluate patient outcomes.
- Provide health information and education to patients to support their recovery.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with staff and other healthcare stakeholders.
- Manage human, financial, and physical resources efficiently.
- Ensure the team follows nursing legislation, ethical practices, and the scope of practice.
- Apply Batho Pele principles to advocate for patients and ensure they receive proper treatment.
- Compile and analyze reports to improve the quality of care.
- Participate in staff training, research, and self-development.
- Be available to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
