Role Overview
We are looking for a dedicated Sales Assistant to join our Somerset West team. Your main goal will be to provide exceptional service to our customers while helping the store reach its sales targets. You will support the management team in daily operations and ensure the store remains organized and professional.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
- Provide friendly and professional service to every customer.
- Help with store layouts, merchandise replenishment, and general housekeeping.
- Handle administrative tasks regarding stock, mark-downs, and lay-bys.
- Ensure the safety and protection of stock, cash, and company assets.
- Follow all company policies and procedures accurately.
Requirements and Skills
- Education: Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.
- Experience: Previous experience in a sales environment is preferred.
- Computer Literacy: Basic ability to use computer systems.
- Customer Focus: A passion for helping people and working in a team.
- Skills: Strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to plan daily tasks effectively.
- Personal Attributes: High level of integrity, initiative, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
