Key Roles and Responsibilities

Operating and Process Control

• Operate machinery according to work instructions and usage standards.
• Perform quality checks and analysis as required.
• Monitor and record waste, identifying trends to solve problems or find improvement opportunities.
• Review performance against targets and maintain short-interval control records.
• Respond quickly to stoppages and follow standard problem-solving practices.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace using 5S principles.

Maintenance of Plant and Equipment

• Perform deep cleaning, lubrication, and inspections based on maintenance schedules.
• Execute routine maintenance tasks and escalate complex issues to the team leader.
• Participate in scheduled maintenance days and post-mortem reviews.
• Monitor equipment trends to identify and correct underlying technical issues.

Communication and Collaboration

• Actively participate in shift meetings and contribute suggestions for improvement.
• Use shift logbooks and other media to stay informed and share information with the team.
• Understand and work toward achieving team goals.

Problem Solving and Continuous Improvement

• Identify the root causes of problems and verify that solutions are effective.
• Use data and trend analysis (such as Pareto charts) to reduce waste and variation in the process.
• Identify opportunities to simplify tasks and record them for team review.
• Collaborate with specialists and team members to evaluate and implement improvements.

Minimum Requirements

• N6 Qualification in Electrical Engineering.
• A valid Electrical Trade Test.
