Job Purpose

Assist the Operator in running machines to produce packaging according to specifications, maintaining quality, accuracy, and speed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain personal hygiene and quality standards in the production area.
  • Follow health and safety rules, including keeping safety chains closed and wearing PPE.
  • Keep accurate housekeeping records.
  • Support implementation and verification of BRC IOP requirements.
  • Adhere to Operations Procedures and management communications.
  • Perform housekeeping activities as scheduled.
  • Assist the Operator and follow instructions.
  • Report defective or malfunctioning equipment.
  • Carry out other reasonable assignments as requested by management.

Team Interaction

  • Follow instructions from the Main Operator.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, following Liqui-Box values.
  • Perform additional tasks as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Grade 12 education.
  • Technical or mechanical aptitude.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and neatness.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Critical thinking and questioning when unsure.
  • Physical strength.
  • Teamwork experience.
  • Tertiary education in electrical or mechanical fields is an advantage.
