Role Overview
We are seeking a professional and reliable Patient Driver to join our team in the Gauteng area. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation services while representing the NRC values of care and professionalism.
Requirements
- Education: Matric (Grade 12) with good literacy and numeracy skills.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a similar driving role. Previous experience in a renal or healthcare environment is an advantage.
- License: A valid Code 8 or Code 10 Driver’s License and a valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
- Skills: Basic computer literacy (MS Office) and strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Attributes: Ability to work well under pressure, maintain a neat professional appearance, and adapt to a changing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a fast, safe, and high-quality delivery and transport service to our patients and customers.
- Perform daily vehicle safety checks and ensure the vehicle is well-maintained.
- Follow all technical instructions and adhere to safe working procedures.
- Maintain a professional, polite, and helpful attitude at all times.
- Attend regular staff meetings and contribute to the team.
- Uphold the NRC “Caring the NRC Way” values in all interactions.
