Job Opportunity: Sales Assistant at Old Khaki (Mall of the North)
Cape Union Mart International has been a leader in South African outdoor and lifestyle retail since 1933. We are looking for a motivated and professional Permanent Part-Time Sales Assistant to join our Old Khaki team at the Mall of the North in Polokwane.
Role Overview
As a Sales Assistant, your primary goal is to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers while helping the store meet its sales targets. You will play a key role in maintaining the brand’s image and ensuring the store runs smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and professional service to every customer.
- Use effective selling techniques to meet and exceed daily sales targets.
- Help identify opportunities to increase store turnover.
- Maintain high standards of store housekeeping and visual merchandising.
- Ensure all stock loss prevention measures are followed.
- Help create a positive and inspiring shopping environment.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: At least 6 months of experience in a retail environment.
- Education: A Matric certificate or equivalent.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office) and excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge: An interest in current clothing trends and the outdoor lifestyle.
- Record: A clear criminal record is essential.
