Job Opportunity: Sales Assistant (Part-Time) at Poetry
Cape Union Mart International has been a trusted name in South African retail since 1933. We are currently seeking a professional and energetic Permanent Part-Time Sales Assistant to join our Poetry team at the Cresta shopping centre in Randburg.
Role Overview
As a Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. Your goal is to drive sales through excellent service while maintaining the high visual standards of our store.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver top-tier customer service by using effective selling techniques.
- Work consistently toward achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Identify opportunities to increase store turnover.
- Maintain store housekeeping and visual merchandising standards to create an inspiring shopping environment.
- Follow all procedures regarding stock loss control.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 6 months of retail experience.
- Education: Matric certificate or equivalent.
- Skills: Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office).
- Communication: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Knowledge: A passion for and understanding of current clothing trends and lifestyle brands.
- Background: A clear criminal record is required.
