Permanent Part-Time Sales Assistant – Poetry (Fourways)
Cape Union Mart International has been equipping South African adventurers since 1933 and is the country’s favorite destination for outdoor pursuits. We are currently looking for an energetic and professional Part-Time Sales Assistant to join our Poetry team in Fourways, Gauteng.
What You Will Do
As a Sales Assistant, your primary goal is to provide an exceptional shopping experience. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing excellent customer service and using effective selling techniques.
- Consistently meeting and exceeding individual sales targets.
- Identifying opportunities to increase store turnover.
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and visual merchandising to keep the store looking its best.
- Following stock loss control procedures.
- Contributing to an inspiring and positive store environment.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
- At least 6 months of retail experience.
- A Matric certificate or equivalent qualification.
- A clear criminal record.
- Proficiency in basic computer use (Microsoft Office).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with customers.
- Knowledge of current clothing trends and the Poetry brand lifestyle.
