Permanent Part-Time Sales Assistant – Poetry (Waterfall)

Cape Union Mart International has been a leader in the South African retail and outdoor industry since 1933. We are currently looking for a professional and energetic Part-Time Sales Assistant to join our Poetry team in Waterfall, Rustenburg.

Role Overview

As a Sales Assistant, you will be the face of our brand. Your goal is to provide exceptional service to every customer while helping the store reach its sales targets. We are looking for someone who is passionate about fashion and enjoys creating an inspiring shopping environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by using effective selling techniques.
• Consistently meet and exceed individual sales targets to help drive store turnover.
• Maintain high standards of visual merchandising and store housekeeping.
• Follow stock loss controls to protect store inventory.
• Help build a positive and inspiring atmosphere for both customers and colleagues.

Requirements

• A minimum of 6 months of experience in a retail environment.
• Matric certificate or an equivalent qualification.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office).
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact well with others.
• A clear criminal record.
• An interest in current clothing trends and a lifestyle-focused approach to retail.
