Role Purpose
As a Pharmacist Assistant, you will provide essential pharmaceutical care services and manage day-to-day dispensary administration. You will work within your scope of practice and follow the company’s standard operating procedures to ensure the highest quality of service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high standards of customer service and patient care.
  • Manage stock control efficiently, including the repacking of medicine.
  • Handle dispensary administration and paperwork accurately.
  • Perform accurate compounding of medications.
  • Provide general health advice to customers.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping and organize merchandise displays.
  • Assist with other operational tasks as required.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Matric with Mathematics (Essential).
  • Registration with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC) as a Pharmacist Assistant (Qualified, Post Basic, or Learner Basic).

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Good knowledge of health aisle and over-the-counter (OTC) products.
  • Understanding of SAPC regulations and relevant legal requirements.
  • Strong focus on customer service and teamwork.
  • High level of integrity and ethical work practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail and basic calculation skills.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and MS Office.
