Role Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Pharmacist Assistant to provide high-quality pharmaceutical care. In this role, you will handle daily dispensary administration and support the pharmacy team in accordance with company Standard Operating Plans (SOPs) and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service and professional care to all patients.
  • Manage dispensary administration and maintain efficient stock control.
  • Accurately repack and compound medications as required.
  • Offer general health and product advice to customers.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping and organized merchandise displays.
  • Assist with ad hoc operational tasks to ensure the smooth running of the pharmacy.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Grade 12 / Matric with Mathematics (Essential).
  • Registered with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC) as a Pharmacist Assistant (Qualified, Post Basic, or Learner Basic).

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Good knowledge of OTC (Over the Counter) and health products.
  • Understanding of SAPC regulations and relevant pharmacy legislation.
  • Strong computer literacy (MS Office and business operating systems).
  • Basic mathematical calculation skills.
  • A customer-focused approach with high ethical standards.
