Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated Pharmacists for positions ranging from Grade 1 to Grade 3. This role requires individuals who can provide professional pharmaceutical services and work effectively within a healthcare team.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy.
- Current registration with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC) as a Pharmacist.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Willingness to perform after-hours duties when required.
Experience Levels
- Grade 1: No experience required for South African qualified pharmacists after registration with the SAPC. (Foreign qualified pharmacists require 1 year of relevant experience).
- Grade 2: A minimum of 5 years of appropriate experience after registration with the SAPC. (Foreign qualified pharmacists require 6 years of relevant experience).
- Grade 3: A minimum of 13 years of appropriate experience after registration with the SAPC. (Foreign qualified pharmacists require 14 years of relevant experience).
Key Skills and Competencies
- Knowledge of the Pharmacy Act and national/provincial health policies.
- Experience or insight into Primary Health Care (PHC) settings.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management and interpersonal relations.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Computer literacy and the ability to work well within a team.
