Job Description

We are looking for a Picker Packer to manage parts and consignments in our warehouse. The role involves receiving items, binning them correctly, picking parts for daily delivery to departments, and following standard operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and organise tasks to meet performance targets and SOPs.
• Provide daily feedback on task delivery.
• Resolve routine problems and report unresolved issues.
• Check stock levels using system cycle counts and report discrepancies.
• Re‑bin stock based on movement information to optimise layout.
• Scan stock and bin parts into allocated areas.
• Escalate unresolved operational problems.
• Meet agreed performance targets and service level agreements.
• Report transactional activities for decision making.
• Follow governance and compliance processes.
• Deliver and collect goods safely.
• Maintain vehicle condition and report non‑compliance.
• Drive safely in compliance with legal rules.
• Prevent financial loss and maximise performance.
• Deliver services that meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Attend training to improve quality and standards.
• Live up to company values.

Qualifications

• 0–1 year experience in a similar environment.
• Higher Certificate or Advanced National (Vocational) Certificate, NQF Level 4.
• Valid South African driver’s licence.
