About the Role
The KwaZulu-Natal Department of Transport is seeking a dedicated professional for the role of Principal Provincial Inspector. This role is essential in maintaining a balanced road network and ensuring the safety and mobility of all provincial road users.
Minimum Requirements
- A Senior Certificate (Matric) and a Traffic Officer’s Diploma.
- 6 to 10 years of professional experience in Traffic Law Enforcement.
- Valid driving licenses for both categories A and EC.
- A clean criminal record.
Key Knowledge and Skills
The successful candidate must demonstrate expertise in the following areas:
- Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of road traffic and public transport policies, vehicle inspections, and impoundment procedures.
- Operations: Proficiency in completing law enforcement documentation and managing operational projects.
