Key Responsibilities
The Production Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring our manufacturing processes run smoothly and on schedule. Your main tasks will include:
- Communication: Managing daily updates with CMT (Cut, Make, and Trim) owners to resolve operational issues promptly.
- Production Tracking: Monitoring schedules and work-in-progress across multiple units to prevent delays and meet delivery deadlines.
- Sample Management: Following up on “tryouts” and pre-production sample approvals.
- Quality Control: Checking the accuracy of the Bill of Materials (BOM) to ensure the correct fabrics, trims, and accessories are delivered to manufacturers.
- Administration: Maintaining accurate records of style numbers and order quantities, and capturing weekly invoices for the finance department.
- Coordination: Acting as a liaison between Production Planning, Quality Assurance, and CMT owners. You will also help coordinate logistics for finished goods moving to the distribution center.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree.
- Experience: 2 to 5 years in a similar production role.
- Technical Skills: A solid understanding of garment construction, patterns, and marker making.
