Role Overview

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Planning Assistant to support our planning department. In this role, you will help ensure that our production workflow remains seamless and efficient. You will be responsible for maintaining data integrity, communicating with stakeholders, and ensuring that all orders are processed without delay.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communication: Maintain clear and professional communication with both internal teams and external partners.
  • Data Accuracy: Update and verify production data (such as Height, Width, and Matrix Codes) in our D365 system with 100% accuracy.
  • Order Management: Promptly process “Paid & Approved” orders to keep the production line moving smoothly.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate production records and submit reports to the Production Planner on time.
  • Deadline Management: Complete all assigned tasks within required timeframes and ensure all planning data is kept up to date.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience working in a production, manufacturing, or planning environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel and Outlook.
  • A National Certificate qualification.

Preferred Skills:

  • Previous experience in administrative support for production scheduling.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (experience with D365 is a major advantage).
