We are currently seeking a Professional Nurse Grade 1 to join our team at H A Grove Hospital.
Requirements
- Senior Certificate (Grade 12).
- Basic qualification accredited with the South African Nursing Council (SANC), such as a Diploma or Degree in General Nursing.
- Current registration with SANC as a Professional Nurse.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical nursing care in line with the legal scope of practice and professional nursing standards.
- Promote high-quality patient care and assist in implementing National Core Standards and the Ideal Hospital Realization Framework.
- Communicate effectively with patients, supervisors, and other healthcare professionals, including preparing necessary reports.
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
- Interact respectfully and professionally with people from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and beliefs.
- Plan and organize your own work and supervise support staff to maintain efficient nursing care.
- Advocate for patient needs and demonstrate a commitment to the “Batho-Pele” principles (putting people first).
- Manage the resources allocated to your unit effectively.
